Landscape
I was taking my pictures while I was on a run and I ran past this area and saw the big open area of water and decided to take one of my sets of images here. I decided to include the reflection on the water in the pictures because it was a clear day and the blue sky reflecting on the water made it look really nice. I also decided to include a lot of trees in the images because they were starting to change color and looked really nice especially with all the sunlight on them. I tried to convey a feeling of warmth and sunlight that you feel when next to the water with these images.
This location was a bit further down on my run and I decided to stop here and take pictures of the trees in front of the water. I decided to not include much of the sky in these pictures and mostly just the trees and water because it gave it more of a feeling of being deep in the forest. I liked the composition of having the branches in front of the water rather than a shot of the water with trees in the background because it gave more depth to the pictures.
This location was just across a bridge from the first location. I chose to take pictures here because the trees were all in different stages of changing colors and having the leaves fall off and I thought that looked pretty cool. I liked how with the composition of these ones, similarly to the last ones, I made it so the shot was peeking through the trees at the water. I like how in these pictures you can see all of the parts of the landscape including the trees, ground, water, and sky.
I took these pictures a couple miles down from the previous location on my run. I took these at a place where the trees cleared and opened to a field and I thought that would be a good place for pictures. I tried to get the composition of the shot to show the contrast of the wall of trees and the field in front of them. I wanted these pictures to have the feeling of the freedom of being out in an open feeling like this.
I took these pictures after I finished my run and it had gotten cloudy outside. I thought that pictures looking over the water from a higher up area looked cool so I decided to take some here. I like how this set of pictures contrasts the rest because they have a more dark composition and have a grey sky rather than a blue sky.
